I am sick and tired of being the subject of cheaters, liars, sandbaggers, jerks who are trying to annoy me and irritate me and get me to snap, people who spy on me, people who talk about me behind my back, and exquisitely timed web/and or computer glitches that force my loss to opponents of lesser ability.

I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiricy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I bet you think everything would get better if they outlawed Fox News Money Mouth

Yes, I have seen no less than 5 mental health professionals because of this conspiracy that I have been battling for longer than the 10 year period. Not a single one has diagnosed me with any mental health disorders of any kind. I have honestly exhausted this line of reasoning, and I'm not lying.

Here is a game that I am 100% sure involved cheating. You will see that I had the game won on move 8. This is a 1/1 bullet game.

This near exact occurance happened to me about 10 times last year and I kept my mouth shut about it. But since so many strangers are interested, and I have this example still im my archive I will share it.

My very human moves are not the best, check them with houdini if you like, but like I said this is a 1/1 bullet game which usually involves an amount of randomness.

As for longer time control games... yes I could play them, but they are an inefficient way to practice my repertoire.

The comments about blitz being a sloppy form of chess, yes that is true, but it still doesn't address the issues I'm speaking of. Blitz or not these factors should not occur.

To the comment I'm not improving because I play too much blitz... You have ignored my original posting about reading and studying several chess books, watching videos, practicing all aspects of the game-opening, middle, and endgames, studiously for 10 years. Any amount of blitz will not undo that studying.

To centipede: No, I could have commited murder and done my sentance in prison and been released in that time period. Murder is 8 years in many jurisdictions.

Lastly if you don't intend to make a serious post that contributes something, please post on another thread.

Maybe you should have the fillings in your teeth removed like Bobby Fischer did so your opponents can't read your thoughts.

He did this?

I just saw an ad of a girl in a bat costume, is this the Batgirl you talk of?

kco

@OP, you should've wear your tinfoil hat more often.

winerkleiner

Lol yes that was her!

Therein lies your problem. There is a serious flaw in your thinking. Longer time control games are not an "inefficient way to practice". Slow time controls are the ONLY way to practice when you're learning the game. You shouldn't play blitz until you are a proficient player.

If you really want to learn and improve, stop playing blitz and bullet. Play ONLY slow time control. Think about every move. Spend a lot of time in Tactics Trainer and Chess Mentor. On the other hand if all you want to do is piss and moan about some fictitious conspiracy.... have at it. More than one poster has told you exactly what you need to do.... cut out the blitz. Up to you if you head the advice or not....

General-Mayhem

What's your OTB rating? Because if your online rating is skewed by cheaters/glitches etc. your OTB rating would be a more accurate representation of your ability

Watas_Capas

Wahaha ratings online aren't worth that much Sealed, chess was never about ratings Undecided, that just a few cherries on top of the cake, the real slice is enjoying the game.

Nicholas_Shannon80

I AM a proficient player. Are you even talking to me, or some 13 year old child? This is perfectly emblematic of the exact thing I'm talking about when I use the term 'conspiracy'. If you want to be a great source of wisdom and sage advice, then go find that 13 year old and have at it.

Spiritbro77

"I AM a proficient player". Really? Then what seems to be the problem? Why are you on here pissing and moaning about your rating?  I take my advice back. Be sure to play nothing BUT blitz and bullet. That's sure to get you where you want to be.... 1300 in no time! *snicker*

With that, I'm done. I have a rule. Stay as far away from crazy as possible....

Nicholas_Shannon80

Yes. You snicker because you know I'm right, that there is a ridiculous conspiracy that is so unbelievably outrageous it's cartoonish in nature. By all means continue to kick a man when he's down and out.

I didn't ask for any "advice" on any one of my posts. Your proffering of unsolicited "advice" is only meant as a means of buffing up your own ego, which does not help me in any way.

This thread is only devoted to the notion of a conspiracy against me personally. If you want to be a chess teacher I once again refer you to the aforementioned 13 year old.

Nicholas_Shannon80

Furthermore proficient player does not mean "grandmaster". Nor should the bar of being able to participate in the game of chess and it's associated rating system without interference be set at "grandmaster".

kclemens

OP: What would you like to achieve? Let's say there is a conspiracy against you. Let's also say that you expose the conspiracy to artificially depress your rating. Then what? What will you do next?

Also, I suggest you read Dan Heisman. He says what counts in chess is not KNOWLEDGE so much as ABILITY. You study and read and study more but perhaps you just don't have the ABILITY. If you want to get better at bullet (which I don't really consider chess) there are articles for that. If you want to get better at CHESS- play long games, work on Heisman's Big Three: play slowly, safely, and actively, and analyze. Your chess will not improve until you raise your ability and play less bullet, and what chance have you against a widespread conspiracy if you don't improve your chess? To put it briefly and perhaps rudely: improve your ABILITY or expect more of the same, tomorrow, next week, next month and next year. There's my two cents.
