Far too many times I’m losing games because of “loss of signal!!” My WiFi and 4G is full bars all the time except for when I play games of chess on this!?? Complete joke!!
How many other sites with servers 5,000 miles away do you play on?

Not to be rude but it is almost certainly a connection problem on your end. Obviously not your fault just try to play on a computer rather then on a phone in a building or on a bus. I have personally experienced many connection issues when inside certain buildings as well as on moving busses.
YouTube can use a buffer. A chess game can't.
It is not chess.com it is your WIFI connection, the device you use to play the game and interference with your signal.
WIFI is convenient but slow and susceptible to interference such as brick walls, metal devices, other electronic devices.
It can be your device itself - you may have the best phone out there in the world, but it is designed with the primary task of communication, not game playing.
A simple way to test is this - get to a computer that has a wired connection (wired connections have a 100 Mbs speed, wireless is only about 5 Mbs) and try the games you normally play on the phone. You should find it to make an amazing difference.
My own personal rule of thumb - if you want to play chess online seriously, then get a serious connection.
Wait, you play online chess when NOT connected to the internet? And you get disconnected from an online chess game when you are NOT connected to the internet?
Can you let us know how you do that?
is wi-fi lag different than dial-up. If not chess.com can fix it so the server does recognize lag just like ICC and FICS back in the 1990's. FIX IT
I have never had a problem with lag on a blitz game here.
I understand that any lag is intolerable to a bullet player. They even complain about requiring a minimum of 0.1 seconds for a move.
Every site has lag. The lag adjustments here seem to work pretty well. Some people in the far regions of the world have trouble competing for a wifi signal and get disconnected pretty often.
Some people don't understand that downloading a movie in one gulp is completely different problem than making 50 to 100 separate connections in a chess game.
Obviously then it is your computer hardware that is lagging. How come you would have this lag problem but few other people do? I personally never had this issue once over the course of 4 years. And you should not feel offended that I said your internet sucks because you started your entire post with an assertion that "the game sucks"
