The General Guidelines of Bullet Chess, as known by me

1. Never resign if you still have a Knight.

2. Material matters less.

3. It is far, far easier to attack than to defend!

4. Try to use premoves sparingly. I only discovered premoves a few days ago, and my bullet rating dropped 150 points in 24 hours because I premoved everything. Foot in Mouth

5. Listen to heavy metal music while playing. It helps keep the rhythm going. I recommend Linkin Park.

6. Resigning is for losers. Literally.

Nakemura has written a book on bullet games, and one of my friends have told me:

¨He gave a move which won a queen a ? mark, with the comments: Black used 6 seconds to find the combination. It's not worth a queen¨

DEEPFROGGER

That sounds about right.

I don't agree with 4). Use it often, but learn how and when to use it. For obvious situations that aren't ''dangerous'' nor need ''thinking'' they're very good. For instance at the end game for random king-moves to win some time. I have a 1400 blitz rating but my bullet has gone far over 1500 because of premoves!

Well, pardon me for my lack of knowledge about modern music. :)

Most of my taste in music is pre-20th century, which makes sense somewhat as I play in orchestras professionally. That said, I don't know the difference between dubstep and general electronic music, so I guess I have some catching up to do, haha.
