So this is going to be different from my usual Troll posts sad.png

I personally Find Austrian and Albin Countergambit really nice defenses in order to react to d4

In defense as black to 1. d4

the most common replies are

Indian game:

and it's no rocket science in knowing that white stands way better and has a huge space advantage after

Queen's Pawn opening: d5

okay so another defense to d4 is to play d5, keeping it simple... but after c4 that is the queen's gambit.. the top 3 played defenses are:

QGD

In this variation it's still simple to understand that White has space advantage
Slav defense
and white is up in devlopment
Queen's Gambit Accepted, I don't even need to show it to you guys how much space white has..
Dutch Denfese/Defence XD don't tell me you guys thought I'd cut with the trolling
sorry I should've taken some references I don't know the dutch quite well, but the con is that black's kingside is weak, I'd like to know in the comments how the Dutch defense is played...
NOW FOR THE INTERESTING PART
Now here I tell you what defense I prefer in response to 1. D4
This is the Queen's Gambit Reverted: Austrian Variation

and the response people give to this is quite interesting

Different Responses to white's response

I'd like to see people comment on if there's anything they don't like about this, or if they can help me understand how the Dutch variation works... or if they have anything else to tell me

White mostly doesn't reply with the move 6.Nc3 but instead would play 6.Nbd2
