After 50 moves without a capture or pawn move the game will end in a draw.
The guy won’t draw!

Sometimes, you have to prove a draw. That could take a while in a Daily match. If you're convinced that it is a draw, try playing for Draw by Repetition by playing the same two moves. At least then, if your opponent wants to play to the 50 move limit they'll need to find a lot of unique positions.

I am now in a similar position. Neither player can gain an advantage, and although I have offered a draw many times he just keeps moving pieces about without achieving anything. Guess he is hoping I'll just give in. https://www.chess.com/game/daily/650121195

I hope you're not asking for help during a game. That would be against the rules.
Not at all. Just wondering what reason he could have for not agreeing to a draw. I am quite happy to just keep my king moving between the same two squares until the position is repeated 3 times, or we reach the 50 move limit.
I’m effectively in stalemate with my opponent. We each have four pawns, all quite well protected. He has a bishop and a knight and I have one rook.
All we’re doing is shuffling our B/N/R about! Occasionally put each other in check, occasionally threaten a pawn. It’s just not going to end any other way than a draw 😂
I’ve messaged him to say this and offered a draw. He didn’t reply, but declined the draw.
I tried moving my rook back and forward threatening two different pawns and he only had his king to move to protect. He had two ways of doing this, and he alternated so we wouldn’t draw!
WHEN WILL IT END? 😂 Is he trying to bore me into a resignation?
I’ve read games have total move limits? God I hope so.
