Messages disappear if a user gets muted or banned, at least I consider this as the primary reason.
Considering what they keep doing to the UI there might be a glitch as well...

Well, i wasn't even in time to check his profile. I didn't delete or mute anyone. I just wanted to open app and later i tried to open in browser but there was no message from him

strange, maybe he will contact again, i did my best to reach him but honestly i don't expect a lot

I received the message today from person from Vietnam because of chess lessons. I saw the banner on my screen but when i wanted to review that message the message disappeared.
