I often make mistakes due to misclicks. I never ask for takebacks ( where this options exists ). It's not a tragedy, it's part of the game. Above all, it's a way to get used to always keeping concentration high.

Rematch is not mandatory, there are a thousand valid reasons why one does not want to grant it. I don't ask for it, and if my opponent dosen't offer it, no problem.

Man I could literally win the game but of a freaking misclick I lost so much anti climactic

Yeah it can be really annoying

TBH I won due to a misclick once.

if you do have this problem you can look in your settings and do confirm before move

So that means bullet and blitz don't make you learn almost anything. But rapid and daily (also classical) make you learn things more than bullet and blitz.

Actually, most people (including me) consider classical OTB chess as "real" chess. Blitz and bullet are fun but not very instructive, while daily is more like a variant that has little to do with chess since the rules are so different.

Can't you just go In setting to allow confirm move

No. There are so many flaws. What if you blundered… “missclicked”. My bad. That’s just stupid. Teaches you how to be patient and wait. It’s annoying, but teaches you stuff

You can always set in settings to confirm all your moves

You can't differentiate botez gambits and blunders if you allow takebacks..same problem on lichess too

Plenty of people hang queens and ask for takebacks there but you never know if it was unintentional or just a clean blunder

After all, making a misclick is our fault not chess.com's.

We use custom pallets specially designed to secure your bike and air ride trailers to dampen vibrations. Our Bike Transport NZ system is specially designed to protect your bike from damage during transport.

So suggest what chess.com should do to detect if your move is a misclick or not. Nothing is unfair about this, it’s just you

Fr this is actually so annoying. Like you’re about to take a hanging piece but you accidentally let go of your mouse at the wrong time and blunder your Queen.

I was legit about to mate my opponent but i misclicked and blundered my queen sad.png
