So none of you have ever been to the library ?

When I was a kid, sure. We had to look things up for school though, not for chess.

Maybe you can say real chess players over 50 years old might remember this number.

You never looked at chess books in the library?

Once or twice I have. By the time I was interested in chess, there were electronic catalogs of some sort, and I searched on a computer screen for where to find them.

Of course, the books are usually aimed at beginners, so it's more out of curiosity for what titles they have... although I knew a guy who got access to various good books though interlibrary loans.

That’s the Dewey decimal system used in library’s that’s where most chess books are found
