To discuss about the perception of chess in society as a part of  (popular) culture.  And how simplification can lead to a misrepresentation of Chess as a sport.

It's actually called, "One Night in Bangkok" from the musical Chess co-written by Tim Rice and the two male members of ABBA. The song is sung by Murray Head and charted Top 10 in several countries (including Canada) in 1985.

Murray Head also had the 1969 hit song, Superstar, from another Tim Rice (and Andrew Lloyd Webber) musical, Jesus Christ, Superstar. happy.png
