ok
Imagine talking trash while cheating. Unreal.

For anyone curious, here's the cheater's profile: @Hamidriad82
lol - I wonder if that's related to @Hamidriad at all, which was closed for Fair Play violations 4 days before this account was opened. Maybe it was an unauthorised return account, in which case they were stupid to draw attention to themselves by posting abuse. People generally reveal who they really are after a while.

Hmm.... y'know i faced a cheater once when I was about 700 blitz (yes I know I'm not the greatest) and he got banned and was so damn toxic... pissed me off a lot... things like that made me lose about 300-400 elo and then just straight out quit blitz. You really are right, cheaters can really kill you in the inside when they trash talk you... for no reason. A week later, he was banned, so it was just so ironic... like the man had 4 100 acc games in a row! I don't exactly remember what this guy's name was, but all I care about is how much he demotivated me. And I wont probably come back anytime soon.

You can take comfort from the fact that cheaters at that level are pretty obvious and will get banned pretty quickly.
On the second page of your game history, there are 4 players who have been banned for Fair Play violations, all within the last month. The one before that on page 3 was in July - that seems unusual, and makes me wonder if Chess.com has beefed up its cheat detection in the last month and have added something else to the mix that has increased the certainty level in some of the edge cases.

On the other site I faced a 1400 who beat a 1700 and a 2000 in the last two games and trash talked them. I am 2150 with a peak of 2212 rapid (on that site). I ended up losing to him too. I was certain he was cheating but didn't report cuz I thought the staff wouldn't do much anyway. Next day I wake up, log in to see i my opponent made a move in our correspondence game (he didn't) and then I see a '1' in my inbox, and see this exact message:
"You lost rating points to someone who violated the [insert site name here] TOS"
Refunded rapid rating: 12 points
I went back to check how many points I lost against the 1400, it was 12. On his profile it said he cheated but he was still allowed to play for some reason. But I'm just happy I got my rating back

better if chess.com refunds the amount of stress and pain back to the cheater so that this breed of cheaters knows how it feels ....when u shatter someones hope to get better......and ofc the time .

Ye, it sometimes happens. I mean when i was 800 at rapid, a guy at somewhere between 700 to 870 was abusing others as frick. When it came to our game, he started using swear words and then i got irritated and locked in. he was winning at first but lost in the middleganme. After the game i reported him and ya, he got banned

#1 your blitz rating is nice but talking about cheating here is not permitted. Join Cheating Forum team to discuss topics like these. Hence: #inb4thelock

Wow, i'm pretty sure it's actually the same guy, everything matches. Same flags, Timing lining up perfectly. The old account had over 30k games and was around since 2013. Thats crazy, dude spent a good amount of his life on there just to end up banned for cheating. Kinda pathetic, tbh. Prolly an old dude with nothing better to do, i pity him, that's just sad.

cheaters acting like they're superior when they r literally a fraud, damn. You'd think someone who knows they're a cheater would at least try to stay quiet, but no, they gotta open their mouth and embarrass themselves even more. Maybe they do it to convince themselves they're actually good. that's sad. A whole new level of loser energy.

You don't get to decide what's "permitted" here dude. People are free to discuss whatever they want as long as it's related to chess, and cheating absolutely is. if you dont like it, you can just ignore it instead of trying to play the forum cop

Yeah, I have noticed more people cheating, which makes me more at ease, but yeah, lots of people complaining about cheating must've made chess.com buff their fair play police up.

Yeah, it's just sad that even when they do cheat, they still act like their just better. No shame, really. Its really dissapointing.
