The knight drew me to chess as a child, because I wondered why four pieces were horse heads. I knew no one that knew anything about chess until I was 17 and then someone showed me how to move the pieces. The next day I purchased a chess book (that was before computers) and began teaching myself to play and found the knight's move so fascinating, and I still do. I'm happy those people back in the 60s, I think it was, did not get there way in changing the chess laws to allow the queen to move like the knight.
This game is an example of the reason why I love knights.
