The Power of your Style is Equal to Experience X Speed of your mind.

is the idea.

I prefer:  "The Power of your Style is Equal to Experience the Speed of your mind."

AndyClifton

Or knit it as a sampler?

Some other variables that need to be included in this equation:

R = Random Factor (floating number between 0 and 1 indicating likelihood of playing moves within a range of accuracy from the best possible to the worst possible)

D = Susceptibility to Distractions.

Q = Quantity of Macaroni and Cheese and/or Attractive Fertile Women in the immediate vicinity (inverse function).

In order to Experience the Power of my Mind, you'll have to change your Style, Andy.

Seriously.

AndyClifton

No thanks emu, I'd prefer for that to remain an X factor. Smile

Increasing age makes R and D fluctuate more, while Q would gradually morph away from women and mac 'n' cheese to quantity of fluid held in the bladder.

Okay - and probably the Q factor would concentrate more around the Mac and Cheese with age, especially if bacon were involved. Did you consider the bacon factor?

If bacon makes everything better, it stands to reason that bacon would also make chess moves better.  The problem as I see it is that bacon cannot be incorporated into chess formulas easily.

Bacon is the dark matter of chess physics.  Perhaps it's best to drink a bacon shake and eat spoonfuls of Baconnaise while playing, and not ask any questions.

What about the Operational intensity of hand-driven ultraviolet di-utility timekeeping quartzites?

Where's the O-factor? Undecided

Damn geeks....;-)

AndyClifton

Personally, I blame bacon.

The OP regards the unit of experience as Newton?

HOW???

StrategicPlay

Is experience the force applied to inject confidence, knowledge and familiarity into the mind, overcoming the naturally occurring resistances of grief, underconfidence, laziness and anger?

It is so much simpler to just drink, you know?
