It's easy to lie about age though

Are there any parental controls on this site? There should be. Like allowing them to play without communicating with strangers? If I had children, I wouldn't want them chatting with anyone, at least until they reach a certain age. Anyway, I though that was gonna be what this thread was about, lol.

I would also agree

True. I think the parents of a lot of kids on here aren't even aware of the chatting function, they think it's just a chess playing site and don't look into it ig

Yes.

There are.

Ok, answered both questions.

thats no excuse for them stalling, time is there when you need it. if im ridiculous, then you should probably go to a different forum.

did I give an excuse?

I said them being kids isnt the problem. Grown adults do this as well.

Did you bother to even read what I wrote? You are putting yourself in the worst possible position to be stalled against. you literally queued up a 30 minute game, and used 7 minutes. You're a ridiculous person.

And omg you just said you had to wait for 3 minutes. Wow, we're all so sad you lost 3 minutes of your life. 3 MINUTES. WHO CARES

what else did i have to read?

the fact that this has nothing to do with kids so your entire post is redundant anyway.
If you bothered to check the forums before posting you would of found thousands of posts like yours crying about people stalling.

Think about it, what did posting this do? nothing, you accomplished nothing. theres already rules in place for stallers, so you posting about someone stalling doesn't do anything besides show your immaturity.

And what makes it worse because you shared your game, now you're being ridiculed for hopping into a 30 minute game and only using 7 minutes. Its a reasonable ridicule, because you're complaining about waiting, but you jumped into a game that you have to wait for very long periods ANYWAY under normal circumstances.

Thats why no one has sympathy for you in the replies. Get a grip

using 7 minutes has nothing to do with what i said. The whole point of this post is for me to get chess.com to get a higher punishment for stalling, and if you cant see that, that's a YOU problem, not a 87 paragraph complaint problem. Anyway, maybe my time is more valuable than yours, I do a bit of things, you may, or may not, I will never know. But what I can say is that you have to respect time, I never stated that he stalled for 3 minutes and resigned, at the time i took this picture, he was stalling. And he "waited" for another 20 minutes, why are you just being a hater, like what did i do to you. Immature? alright idc thats a very lame argument if that's what you were trying to say...? Just because it's a long time control GIVES NO EXCUSE FOR STALLING. Just because it's a higher vulnerability to stalling, doesnt mean that I shouldn't play it, no i dont bother to check old forums far past reviving. Chess.com is comparatively lineant (however you spell that) to stalling. No hate to anyone.

listen the bottom line is rules already exist for stallers and they do get punished for it, so you saying you made this post to get staff to punish stallers is pointless. There is already mechanisms in place to both report stallers straight after a match is over, as well as the system itself dealing with them mid game.

And secondly no matter how much you go on about your time being valuable, there are people who will still stall, no matter how many reports you make, no matter how many POSTS you make, and no matter how many times you get pissed off. people will stall, its part of playing online chess.

That's why i said your post is redundant, and if anything you're just getting ridiculed because everyone on this site already knows these things and knows how many posts like this are made on a regular basis.

ehh il take it but i know that stallrs are still gon be there and im gon have to face it, but it should be a bigger punishment for stalling because it really doesnt do anything special. Pointless as this forum is, it shouldn't recieve 7 pages of WORDS. it should merely get a few comments. I didn't anticipate a bunch of other people clicking on this forum than 10 at max. Alright if my post is redundant, then it should be a no brainer to ***"NOT"**** comment on it as it is redundant. I wonder why you did..?

I don't understand what the big problem is here. Just open a new tab and play a new game. Or, if you have premium, you can play multiple games at the same time. Play a blitz or two and then check back!

its risky for me because sometimes the sound on the other side doesnt register and they play a move to prevent chess.com from accidentaly "abandoning" or "disconnecting" so they play a move in 10 minutes and im busy playing the other game and surprise surprise im the one that loses on time.

Children? Noisy. No attention span. Cry when they lose a piece. Spill things. Cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to raise. Altogether unsatisfactory chess wise.. as Old Mother Hubbard counseled, spank them all soundly and send them to bed. Then play some chess.
