The Tactics Trainer of Positional Chess

Sort:

Tactics are a piece of cake to improve at. Just click on "Tactics Trainer" and just play chess. Tactics are covered. The ying of chess peace is easy to improve at. But, the yang of chess is much harder to improve. Postional chess. A beast of its own with a certain kind of mysteriousness to it. How does one improve upon this aspect of chess in an efficient way? What is the magic formula for developing a positional sense?

@MonkeyH:

Yeah I like your suggestion.  Bit more practical than 5 element metaphysics perhaps...

So yeah, take out a one month diamond membership and do ten lessons from Silman's Roots of Positional Understanding a day; oh and review all the lessons up to that day.  Or maybe just chew off whatever you can handle.Laughing

Anyway, Here are the 300 lessons
