The unclear border between blitz and rapid

💀🙏🏻
no, blitz is like ~5 mins
rapid is ~15 mins
classical is ~1 hour
just speaking form experience, normal time controls I've played are 15|10, 90|30 and 90 mins (I don't play blitz)

3|0:
(3×60)÷40= 4.5 seconds per move.
3|2:
((3×60)÷40)+2= 6.5 seconds per move.
5|0:
(5×60)÷40= 7.5 seconds per move.
Till there, we can be completely sure that we are talking about blitz. Now comes the unclear part.
5|2:
((5×60)÷40)+2= 9.5 seconds per move.
5|5:
((5×60)÷40)+5= 12.5 seconds per move.
5|5 is the longest standard blitz time control on Chess.com.
10|0:
(10×60)÷40= 15 seconds per move.
10|0 is the longest FIDE blitz time control, and the shortest standard rapid time control on Chess.com. For me, it is almost like blitz.
10|5:
((10×60)÷40)+5= 20 seconds per move.
Now this is a great jump.
After this, I think that the border is still unclear. 5|5 and 10|0 aren't blitz nor rapid. Also, I noticed that the players who play 3|0, 3|2 or 5|0 blitz are completely separate from players who play 5|2 or 5|5 blitz (or 10|0, though that counts as rapid).
And here comes the big conclusion:
The time controls from 5|2 to 10|0 should deserve a completely separate time control category. These time controls aren't blitz nor rapid.
well done

I dislike Blitz and Bullet... it's chess with an asterisk. Same with 10/0, though less so, the shortest time control I'll play.
The time control blitz and rapid always had an unclear border. At FIDE, 10|0 is considered blitz. At Chess.com, 10|0 is considered rapid. Today, I will try to solve this by counting the maximum seconds/move for all time controls that matter in this subject. First, let's start by choosing the average length of games in moves. I think this is 40 moves. Let's count with this.
3|0:
(3×60)÷40= 4.5 seconds per move.
3|2:
((3×60)÷40)+2= 6.5 seconds per move.
5|0:
