we've all heard of the BEST world champion, but who was the WORST?
Not kasparov, for kasparov was a nemesis to satan himself.
Therefore it had to be, by a process of elimination,
NOT
capablanca (thinking machine)
alekhine (attacking whiz)
Smyslov (calculator)
Lasker (positional master)
Tal, Botvinnik, Karpov, all above board
Fischer, certainly one of the top three best champs
Therefore we are left with Steinitz or Euwe
Steinitz may have been a poor chessplayer, like a monkey examining a watch, but he cant be blamed, his opposition was also weak, he had patzers, (or monkeys) like rubinstein to challenge him, no wonder his elo never went above 600 -800 regardless of how many games he won-
therefore
EW.
Euwe, the worst world champion of all time.
Somebody said the dude was a boxer for netherlands. He should probably have stayed a boxer. He couldnt beat alekhine in his unprime (inverse of prime)
