Why is it whenever I offer or accept a challenge (not a rematch) I am white?
I'm hoping to play black sometimes and can't seem to figure this out.
I play on a phone and not laptop if that makes any difference.
Any help would be appreciated!
The explorer says that you've played 10 games of each colour (even though you've played 23 games - it's not perfect) and of your current games, also exactly half are of each colour. I'm a bit confused...

It's the option right next to the number of days per move. I'm not sure how you can miss it. I'm talking about V2. IDK about V3.

You can only specify color in unrated games.

He meant you can only choose your colour in the "live" games (not what you were talking about) when the game is unrated. You can choose your colour in both rated and unrated "online" games.

Clarification, in Online/Daily you can choose your color. In Live, if you want to choose your color you have to change to Unrated.
when I get to work tomorrow I'll look at it. this site seems to be very different on an actual computer than it is on my phone.

I was looking at Live and Online/Daily from my phone browser for what it is worth. My first comment was because I thought both types required unrated games to choose color and I found out I was incorrect.
