Life itself is only a vision, a dream
Nothing exists [except] empty space and you
And you, are but a thought

Let's face it; chess is the mother of games, the machine city to the matrix (haha), and the thing that shot out during the Bing Bang (haha×2).
Jokes aside, chess is one of the few games that transcends physical form so beautifully. Truly a mind game, in not only that it involves and demands such mental effort, but also in that it can LIVE, EXIST, and SURVIVE completely in the mind alone, as an idea, one of the most intricate ideas at that if one considers the game play as well and not just the pieces and the rules alone.
Don't believe me? Blindfold chess. No board, no pieces, just an idea, folding, twisting, tunnelling, firing, and so on the story goes.
So, they talk about chess holding, virtually, infinite possibility. I've even heard some bring up the stars in the galaxy in that very same context -- and all of this, all of it, in your mind.
What about Go. It's even more complex, yet even more abstract at the same time
Yes, you're absolutely right at @thegoldenknight2003. I didn't have enough knowledge of the game to consider it, I might have seen it somewhere, perhaps on TV, but that was it, until now.
Thanks for bringing that up, especially for our friends just like myself, who are behind on the amazing games out there.
I guess the chess stone falls mostly on the square board, and the squares within it. Tell me, have you ever walked on a giant checkered floor? Ever felt disoriented by it? Have you noticed how some illusionery works out there make use of the square grid? Come to think of it, how many squares does a chess board have? Enter the chess stone.
There's something in squares that bewilders the mind, and here we are, all in a 'bewildered' state of mind (so to say), participating -- collectively.
Ahahaha...
I'm just kidding. Go seems like an awesome game.
