In 2008 I was playing blitz on the ICC when the 5.2 Lincolnshire earthquake struck and I blundered into a mate in two. Not sure if my opponent believed my excuse: "Oops. Earthquake. Got a bit distracted." Smile

Never!  just because you blunder,doesn't necessarily mean you lose. what if your opponant blunders later?

I had the opportunity to accurately type "there is a tornado" and disconnect.

That happens 80% of the time when I blunder. The person lets his guard down and thinks he won

its funny when i blunder i sometimes think wow i get an interesting posiiton and think like hey maybe the blunder was even a but ingenious still losing but a good idea, then i look at the evaluation and see -2 lol

You play too passively.  (This actually happenned.  I wasn't willing to sacrifice material in order to break through a foretress, so my opponent saced a rook and said that.)
