Things that Affect Rating?

So I know the rating of your opponent affects your rating but does the fashion in which you win?  The time it takes you to win/lose?  Timeouts?  Resignations?  How many factors are there?

First there is four basic ways to win at chess!

1. Checkmate!

2. Opponent Resigning!

3. Opponent running "out of time"! Here at Chess.om you do not need to call time, if you set the game parameter to automatically claim win via opponent running out of time, by default its set to claim win right away!

4. Only in schedule tournament or Championship match game! Forfeit! Opponent fails to show to play and runs out time "see item 3"

As for how long it takes to win, moves, or time it does not matter just the above ways count for a win.

Now there is "six ways to draw", see

Hmm, this what Chess.com says includes details of how rating formula works!

 How do the ratings work?
Solution Chess.com uses the Glicko rating system. Basically, each player starts at 1200. As you win or lose games your rating will go up and down. Your rating is also affected by a rating deviation that says how accurate your rating is. So when you haven’t played many games, your rating can move up and down more quickly. Similarly, your rating moves less when playing an opponent with a high rating deviation because his true rating is less known. As you play more and more your rating will become more accurate and will therefore move more consistently with your performance.
