Here's one I had recently. Idiot should have resigned down a piece (later down a rook), so I had a bit of fun with him. Unfortunately I let him trade a few pawns near the end and was running low on time so that mate wasn't that impressive

Looks like that guy was on drugs, letting you ride in with such a cavalry
While ago there was a dude on yahoo chess sacing his queen in any system by move ten, by move 20 he was down 20 points, yet his bullet rating was constantly above 2K. As for anything below that rating there is high probability of blunder at any position.
I did an experiment on chess24, where I played Qh5, Qxf7+ as white in 3 minute games, as a guest (so I played against 1400s mainly). I won more than half the games, I'd say.

Shock and awe.
If a casual game (like online) is boring sometimes I play moves for fun to make it more interesting. Sometimes that means I blunder, but that's my choice. I can play however I want.
But stopping to play in the middle of a game is obviously rude. It's like walking away during a real game (when you play face to face).
In my mind, walking away is resigning. Both players were being childish.
Promote to minor pieces, not queens. Less chance of stalemate and more fun checkmates . The opponent started things by not resigning in a dead lost position. You reap what you sow. If you don't like getting "humiliated", then resign. Maybe it'll teach these idiots not to waste everyone's time. OP has nothing to be ashamed about
If you want to avoid a stalemate, use one queen to confine the king to a few squares while you promote the rest of your pawns to other pieces, then set up your cool mate.
