Surely some dev added a sarcasm feature to make people laugh...right? That's not a brilliant move that's me floundering while desperately trying to get over an atrocious case of tilt. I was 969 a few dozen blunders ago. The engine even admits that I'm down -4.39 and I hung my bishop...

A brilliant move is one that sacrifices material and is considered good or best. Ratings play into the classification some but basically that's why it's classified that way.
Actually it is a good move. If he captures your bishop you check in F1 and then take the rook

I was just frantically trying to win a bit of room to move around without blundering my queen
