If the game started over 1.5 years ago, he would have lost on time months and months ago, even if he was a diamond member. Don't you auto-win on time? If not, there should be a button to claim the win. What is the name of your opponent?

yes i did move on I was just reading some of the post the other day and it just reading some of the post the other day, and thought to my self wow, 2007 until now that was a long vacation. LOL but it's a done deal like this post say when i wrote it that was a funny post. moving on now thanks for the input and if I play any of you guys I PlayToMateFirst LOL

Yea the reason I said move on was just that I saw the game and it ended by checkmate in December of 2007 if I read it correctly. When you posted it sounded like the game was still in progress like Rich said and/or it took over a year, but really, the game only lasted a few months, right? I've had people stall games against me muchhhhh longer than that. My point was just that you'll get a headache if you think about it too much.
I mean, even in your last post you said - "mate in two he seen this and refused to play on so now he's on the run " - as if it was still going on. It seems like this guy got into your head a bit, which is exactly what he wanted to do. Anyway, moving on... good luck in all of your games bud.
I totally agree with you Dexter, i did let this guy get into my head I forgot about it, and sunday pass I was look at the message board and came across this old post, I open the post, looked at it and started to laugh, becasue,sunday when I looks at the post, that's what I thought, and now you just said it as well, I let this guy get into my head. the game never ended that is where he left and never came back. It does not matter now but I think I'm making it seem so am I ? ok ok get out of my head dude LOL!! I think chess do that to us chess junkies. now going to get my fix... I'll see someone on the board smile.
haha well you are not alone. That stalling game stuff used to bother the hell out of me too. It took me a while to simply not care about it anymore. It'll happen again, trust me, but at least you'll be better prepared for it next time. You'll get less and less angry every time it happens, until you simply won't care anymore. 
I remember I posted a post NOT FAIR! becasue the person I was playing knew he was going to loose so he went on vacation, I read most of the responses and agree with alot of them, however, we are at a little over 1.5 year later and.. I have seen this person on line a number of times pressed the finish game button thing-E and guess what he still refuses to play. I really don't care about the game now, however, the point is, I think if a peron don't return to a game after a said amount of time like what ummmm?? some memberships are max 90 days then the person on lock down wait (LOL) should win the game. but I don't care anymore about the game, the guy knows I'm a better player then he LOL and as long as he knows that it's cool with me!
