This site should have an algorithm where when someone whines about not being granted rematches that they are automuted. No one is obliged to feed your bruised ego.
I'll rematch if you lost, if you won and want to rematch me, and the game was very one sided, it is only for points, so I won't.
Maybe, believe it or not, they have something else to do? During that last game someone rang them up to talk to them. Maybe they said "oh. Wait a minute I'm playing a game" and don't want to keep their caller for ages?
Maybe their limiting their games each day?
Maybe they didn't enjoy the game?
Maybe they had already started a new match?
Why should they have to rematch?

I mean if you lost and ask for a rematch. I will rarely ask for a rematch if I won. Almost never. Only if me and the player talked, agreed before hand, or it was a very fun game.

No, you're not allowed to say it's professional and throw insults around. Get over yourself.
I'm sure there are times where that is the reason but I don't think that's the case most of the time.
Anyway, why would chess.com want to loose a few hundred people because they don't have time to play several matches? Chess,com needs people to function as a website.

Maybe they don't want to loose points. Fair enough. The only reason you want to play them again is to gain points and make them loose some.
I don't care about the points .. I like to rematch someone I had a good game with.

Maybe try okay unrated a bit more. People will accept rematches a lot more on unrated.

If they offer after I just beat them, yes ... unless I can't play but otherwise yes because I feel they deserve one shot.

Since I would imagine 99.99% or more of all players that play here are not professionals, I don't see how your statement applies.

well mickynj, You are the coward here. If you lose a match then its your fault, asking for a rematch just to try again doesn't mean that you will win and the rematch should happen because both the parties are interested not just because you want a second shot at it.
If you blunder, then that means the other player has perseverance and you don't. so stop complaining and work on your skills.
You should probably stop playing chess as you cant handle the ups and downs of it.
