No, I Can't. Even if I could imagine it, I wouldn't .... it sounds way too painful to think about ......... in fact, I'm a little upset that you even brought it up ... but that's OK, you didn't know.

By the way, are you really a motherinlaw or did you just choose that moniker to intimidate married people ?
I'm really a mother-in-law -- my son-in-law introduced me to this site. Also, I do like to intimidate people with my really scary name. I hope you're really scared, even if you're single.

I was planning to demand that Staff provide extensive, convincing Statistical Proof for each and every one of its claims regarding membership. Then it occurred to me that this is a subject about which I could hardly care less ... so now I have way more time and energy for other stuff. (Lucky I thought of that at the last minute!) :-)
It is an interesting, but not all that important concern, Ma, I agree.
I would guess by ballpark reckoning that there are about 3m genuine members, and about 200,000 deceased ones.
That raises the query of how quickly the deceased are removed from the "register".
Is there a regular, say annual, purge of nonactive members?
As you suggest as a last minute thought, this is a subject about which we could hardly care less, except it would be interesting to know.
Unfortunately half of them are sandbaggers who create new accounts so they can play in <1200 tournaments
Thanks for the posts. The 20 million level has been achieved, next stop is 25 million ( Onward and Upward lol ).
