No, I Can't.  Even if I could imagine it, I wouldn't .... it sounds way too painful to think about .........  in fact, I'm a little upset that you even brought it up ...  but that's OK, you didn't know.

Sorry.

By the way, are you really a motherinlaw or did you just choose that moniker to intimidate married people ?

camter

Just over a week to go, I estimate.

I hope they do not, of a sudden, have a cull.

motherinlaw

I'm really a mother-in-law -- my son-in-law introduced me to this site.  Also, I do like to intimidate people with my really scary name.  I hope you're really scared, even if you're single.

SnowyTheWolf

Nah, I'm a kid...

I'm claiming over 20 Nobel Prizes. Of course, that's including all of my past lives, future lives, and all of me in all of the alternate universes.

I think it is getting time to cool the Champagne. Less than a day and a half to go, I reckon.

Someone joins about every seven and a half seconds.

Not if managers through ALL cheaters off the site. This would hit revenues badly so just a few are removed

I was planning to demand that Staff provide extensive, convincing Statistical Proof for each and every one of its claims regarding membership.  Then it occurred to me that this is a subject about which I could hardly care less ... so now I have way more time and energy for other stuff.  (Lucky I thought of that at the last minute!) :-)

camter

It is an interesting, but not all that important concern, Ma, I agree.

I would guess by ballpark reckoning that there are about 3m genuine members, and about 200,000 deceased ones.

That raises the query of how quickly the deceased are removed from the "register".

Is there a regular, say annual, purge of nonactive members?

As you suggest as a last minute thought, this is a subject about which we could hardly care less, except it would be interesting to know.

Nilocra_the_White

Deceased members should not be culled as long as there is a possibility of a Zombie Apocolypse.

Konnichiwassup

Unfortunately half of them are sandbaggers who create new accounts so they can play in <1200 tournaments
