Is anyone receiving this when trying to play live????

Same here! I thought it was my computer.

It was my move when the website was interrupted, don't know if it'll really become a game I lose.

Me too, was in a middle of game, and connection interuption, could not get back in till game was over.

What happened?

God knows.

And it's just happened again.. Anyone else?

Same with me!!! I'm getting desperate with this situation! I play now more than a year and never had this problem before, but the last five weeks it happens to me in one game of four games that I play... It comes out that I lose these games, often in a winning position. Interesting technical details: I play on a Samsung Galaxy4 tablet. When the internet connection falls out, I notice that at that moment I got a mentioning on my tablet saying: "Live Chess Connection: will be automatically stopped when idling (doing nothing) for 30 seconds". Where the hell is this coming from? A virus? No, I don't think so, because after uninstalling and reinstalling I have the same problem. Besides: I never waited 30 seconds for my move, I played always 10 minute games and have to play faster than that. Is it sabotage from chess.com because I'm not a paying member? I can't believe that, even after the Volkswagen saga: why would I become member when having this trouble, should it stop after paying? I don't see any logic in chess.COM being unfair, they have some profit because I see their advertising. Dear reader, if you can't help me, maybe you can tell me how I can send my problem to the staff of our beloved chess site? They surely must have heard about this VERY STRANGE 30 seconds mentioning... It just happened to me again and yes I believe it's a chess.com designed thing to lure people into buying a membership. No other site does this. 

Hi all! I read your comments here. 

First off, we do NOT intentionally disconnect anyone. Never. (It's weird to me that I would have to say that considering how crazy that would be, but just for the record, I'll say it! We don't EVER intentionally disconnect anyway.)

Secondly, the reason is this: we have been the target of an on-again-off-again DDoS attack over the last few weeks. For the most part we have it covered, but occasionally the attack does slip through and cause some issues for some users. I am VERY sorry if this has impacted you! We are currently upgrading our systems even more to prevent this in the future, and we feel confident the worst is behind us. (It makes me sad that we have to spend time and resources battling against jerks :/)

Again, I'm really sorry for anyone and everyone this happens to!

Was just having an excellent game with a FM and guess what!!!

Came back with 2 minutes vs 7 on the clock and blundered like a patzer. Thanks again chess.com!

 I had this happen to me once. I just go to home and go back into it and it works.
