I have nothing against speedruns in general if they are meant to be something didactical, like the ones of Naroditsky and Ginger GM. But I don't see any instructive porpouse in Hikaru's speedruns. The site basically allows him to make fun of other players. No matter if they get the points back, they probably wanted to have fun playing an opponent of their level, not a trash talking GM playing bongcloud and making views thanks to this authorised sandbagging. And maybe they will play nervously immediately after being crushed, so there could be a rating damage as well.
The people he is playing don't hear the trash talk, do they?
