As it were Abraham Lincoln approached the big bankers on Wall Street for a loan to finance the Civil War. Sensing desperation and chance to further fulfill their predatory ways they offered Lincoln the loans he needed at exorbitant interest rates. Some say as high as 40%. Lincoln, being a righteous and practical man, rejected their offer and resolved to find another way to finance the war. He relegated the problem to one of his trouble shooters Colonel Dick Taylor who looked into the matter and shortlythereafter told Lincoln of his conclusions. "Just get congress to pass a bill authorising the printing of full legal tender treasury notes...and pay your soldiers with them, and go ahead and win your war with them" can I do that?" asked Honest Abe? "Yes!" replied Colonel Taylor, "Congress is given that express right by the Constitution. we have a right to create a currency as safe as our own government.." Such a momentous realization did not go unnoticed by the central bankers across the pond who wished to ensnare America in the bondage of eternal debt. An article in the London Times of that year referred to Lincoln's greenbacks as a "mischievous finacial policy and should it become a matter of an indenturated system the Americans would surely become prosperous without precedent in the history of the world. That policy and that country must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe." And surely as surely the National banking Act of 1863 was passed in the heatof the war. Stopping the printing of Greenbacks and restoring the policy of creating money on the debt system instead of the congressional system. And surely from this point on the entire US money supply would be created out of debt by bankers and other entities buying US government bonds and issuing them from reserves for bank notes. Secretary of the Treasury Samon P. Chase guided the establishment of the debt based system and the bankers out of gratitude put his face on the $10, 000 dollar bill. Salmon P. Chase also became Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Ironically he oversaw Andrew Johnson's impeachment in 1868. Chases' face is also on the first $1 bill issued in 1862 (the greenback). So he shows up on constitutional legitimate interest free money and on the banker money debt based honey trap.

Lincoln resolved to abrogate this system after the war was over and return to constitutional money. He agreed to it in the heat of battle and the exigencies of a war threatening the Union itself, war needs cash, but he knew yes he knew and they knew and they took him out like a dog splattering his brains in front of his wife like they would do to Kennedy a hundred years later.
And so now we are here $16 Trillion in debt, an empty Fort Knox and a happy , scheming Uncle Seymour calling all the shots. This is going to turn out real ugly. How can Uncle Seymour's endgame be good for us?

@chess_gg I totally agree with you. Had President Kennedy not been assassinated I firmly believe that there would not have been a Vietnam "conflict"! My undergraduate degree was Political Science and I wrote and studied such issues very deeply! President Eisenhower had sent 50 advisors to Vietnam while he was in office and President Kennedy sent an additional 1500 advisors to the region. It has always been my understanding that congressional records indicate that JFK's intent was to bring those 1550 "advisors" back to the US! Kennedy had concluded that the war was not worth pursuing and you can figure out the rest. Before leaving office, President Eisenhower last words to the American people were "Beware of the military-industrial complex". The one book that covers all these issues and more will blow your socks off is a book by Edward T. Haslam called Dr. Mary's Monkey". I urge you to get your hands on this particular book! I personally knew many of the characters in this book and I believe the book to contain many truths that I know as factual! Covers the assassination of JFK, the polio vaccine, Marcello, Ferris, Ruby, Oswald, Shaw, Garrison, Dr. Alton Ochsner, and quite a few other characters and events. All these events took place in the Greater New Orleans area. Fascinating book! You will never know the New Orleans that I know!
