Tilting in chess is normal and happens at all level. When you start a new game, try to forget about your losing streak and focus on the game at hand.
Tilt?

Thank you. Focusing on the journey and not the destination is good advice I've given to others, elsewhere.
Definitely going to invest in learning and development. Winning or loosing will sort itself.
had some blitz wins though i shouldn't play this form. Had a rapid win not deserved - opponent bailed when crushing it.
back to class it is.

Update: making some progress for now, having broke 500 rapid today! Puzzles at 2300 and blitz at 290
just putting the work in, being focused and diligent - its a marathon not a sprint after all and were not at mile marker 2 yet.
still have plenty of habits to break
thanks all

Indeed, part of the new discipline is 5 blitz, 3 rapid, stop then or after two losses. And 30 puzzles but 5 wrong stop
review the games and analyse puzzle errors.
and study twice as long as i play. But no more than that.
and never play tired - puzzle warm up, blitz then rapid
maybe soMe bot play/practice with bots up to 1200
( yeah i know bots suck, but at 1200 they suck less than me )
Having a frustrating week with my playing. Mostly sloppy one move chess but perhaps something else is amiss
ELO slowly grew to 496 before crashing down to 400 after loosing 10 from 12.
whats going wrong?
