"Tilted online?" - how does this get calculated

When I log on to this site there is a statistic in the corner about how many games and players there are, and then there is a "Tilted online" stat. How is this determined? Win/ loss ratio, or someone throwing out expletives in a game chat? LOL.

Just curious if anyone knows how this is determined.

The word is actually "Titled online", as in the number of players who have an official title who are online at that point in time.

The titles recognised by Chess.com are listed in the FAQ; there is also a verification process to be followed.

At least you didn't read it as "Jilted online."

I believe this statistic is displaying the number of players online who are currently "on tilt".

I just google searched this to find out what "tilted online" meant as well.  I guess the way I play, "tilted" is a term that comes up a lot...
