Hi all,
I am going to play in an OTB tournament with time controls at 40/2, sd/1. I have never played with such long time control and I am not sure I can sit at a board for 6 hours if the game goes that long. For those of you that have played this time control how long do the games typically last on average? I realize this is subjective based on the players but I was really hoping for some input.
