Time Remaining On Bullet Games.

Hi everyone. Just looking for some information regarding Bullet (and occasionally Blitz) games. Specifically, can anyone tell me what is happening when it appears that my opponent's time has run out, the game pauses, and it seems that their time has run out, but then all of a sudden it restarts and my opponent suddenly has 2 to 3 seconds (or more!) left, and then wins on time? Is this just a result of some lag issue? This happens often enough to notice the problem, and it can be an issue during rapid chess games. Thanks!

That is helpful. Thanks for the post. I'm a relative newb to all this. It's just weird when you think you've won and are waiting for your opponents next move, then all of a sudden you LOSE on time. I probably ought to NOT be playing Bullet anyway with my low rating.
