Best to decide how much a day you want to spend on chess then organize your time into study and practice(playing). I recommend at least a 50-50 split between playing and studying, with emphasis on playing. Improving your thought process and visualization/calculation are the two best ways to improve, so working on analyzing your games, improving your awareness of the relationships between the pieces on the board and what’s immediately interacting with what each move, along with a firm understanding of the opening principles and adhering to them will get you on the right trajectory. If you want I’d be happy to meet up in a Chess.com classroom sometime for free and go over some concepts and study ideas for you, maybe review some of your recent games and help you learn how to do that as well. But in the meantime enjoy the learning progress and have fun with chess- it’s a game after all.
