TIPS TO BECOME A GM.

By this method, you can become GM in 2 years!
where is your proof of that?
why 2 years? why not 13.5 years or 6.5 months??
I think it is bad advice, no matter what your intent is, to put a number on how quick someone can become a gm. it has taken some people a long time/ other people rather less.... and most people- even strong committed chess players never even get close.
BTW, I also am about 1200 rated. its not a high number at all.
many, many people on chess.com have done so much better than that.

People who eventually become grandmasters do not need tips on how to become a grandmaster--they are able to figure out how to become a grandmaster on their own.
If you think you need tips on how to become a grandmaster--it is very unlikely you will ever become a grandmaster.

for 2 years in a row i studied chess 15 hours a day and played a bunch of games on lichess, and thats not including all my entire lifes study , and im not a grandmaster... thouroughly read 35 books skimmed through a bunch and read hundreds of articles , i even had 400hours of lessons from an original lifemaster..... i guess 10,000 hours dosent apply to chess.
How is 2 or 3 measley hours a day gonna make anyone a GM? i don't think so.

Amateur kid....hahahahahahahahahhahahahahoooooooooohahhahahahahahhahahahahha!You are never ever ever ever ever gonna be a GM.Get REAL!

With a rating of 700 or 1200 you're a beginner and have no business giving out advice, except for how to be mediocre.

During these two years, were you playing in FIDE rated OTB tournaments against strong opposition, analyzing your games, and working specifically on your weak areas?

I'd rather say in two centuries.
Why do you always break our dreams? You must be trolling for sure.

AviaSharma, you have to realize that not everyone here wants to be a GM. Take me as an example. I only play chess as a hobby. And even if you were serious, no one would take you seriously. You even described yourself as "just a con girl who dreams to be a GM tomorrow". And if you really "thought this article would help some beginners", it's not. Recommending us to practice 3 hours every week and 4 hours on weekends is not helping anyone! An article that talks about openings or tactics would be much more helpful than telling someone to devote at least twenty hours a week to chess.
