I can train you.  I know karate, I mean I saw Karate Kid, I know boxing, I mean I saw all Rocky movies, and I know how to channel the force.

There isn't nothing yoda knows that I don't know better.  I can show you Michael Jackson knight moves.

My philosophy is, you can't lose if you never quit. Once you give up, then you are lost forever.

wanmokewan

Shh, it's better if you let him go.

Of all the things I lost, it's my mind I miss the most.

anyone who loses deserves to be called a loser and if you feel butthurt, it's your fault! Deal with it.

Playing chess.

djvanderhoeven

SheridanJupp

Losing is what builds character. You *do* want to be a character, don't you?

dockers88

Quitters never win and winners never quit

Fail to prepare? Prepare to fail.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush

A stitch in time ...

Can we turn this into a chess sayings thread?

riverblues

yeah those sayings are easier said than done.

takeoffeh

The solution is simple. Learn to enjoy losing. It worked for me.

lisa_zhang_tok

some of the best chess players are people who quit something else ..

I think people are too hard on 'quitting'

why do something you don't love .. move on to something new, and maybe you will love it.

egoole

Its as simple as playing someone with the same problem since a game of chess can't end with both sides loosing.

Someone's got to win at the end. Even if its always a draw, i think thats not loosing only that we will soon see another thread "tired of drawing".

axel9951

I always lose also.

I play chess since 10 years and i still lose 95% of my games but i never quit even if i cant win a single game in my life i will still play
