Are you referring to people refusing to rematch with you after losing to them? If so, what do you mean by "coward behaviour", amf what do you think the reasons are for that?

I’m referring to the majority of players on the platform who decline rematches out of fear, but pretend like it's because they're “busy”
I also requested that chess.com implement a best-of-3 format for competitive and courageous players like myself and others who have been asking for it over the years. But just like with my last thread, anyone who brings up this topic ends up getting shut down one way or another.
Go look on my previous thread and you'll see where a mod locked it with the reason "do not publicly report others. use the report feature" or something like that ...ridiculous

Have you ever declined a rematch? Ever? In your entire life, including IRL, have you ever refused/declined a game that someone wanted to play with you?
It's chess mate, it really isn't that deep.
I understand that you might prefer to view things on a surface level, but I’m looking at the bigger picture.
I’m suggesting ways to make the platform more competitive and enjoyable. If you’re just here to play single, one off games, that’s fine... but don’t tell me “it’s not that deep” when you don’t exactly come across as someone who thinks deeply about these things.

Yes, I do decline rematches... when I’m genuinely busy or if we’ve already played several games.
But these people decline rematches every time. That’s the difference.
I also think some of these mods feel personally triggered whenever I point out that a large part of the user base tends to be timid. After all, a mod is just another person with a bit of authority.
So when they come across something that hits a little too close to home, they lock the thread with some weak excuse like "report users your suspicious of and please don't discuss in general forums"
I know they’re reading this right now, probably feeling triggered again... maybe even considering muting me or shutting down my account just to keep my ideas and evidence from spreading.
Marcus, you are a true warrior, don't pay attention to shameful cowards
I am now frustrated with the operations of the moderators.
You think it’s justified that a mod closed my thread for something completely unrelated to the actual discussion?
I hope that if a mod ever mutes or closes your account for no valid reason, you won’t complain either.

HE ADMITS IT! HE'S A COWARD BECAUSE HE DECLINED A REMATCH ONCE IN HIS LIFE OH MY GOODNESS! this is a joke, nobody is a coward lol

How do you know? And is there a problem with simply not wanting to play you again? I think that's okay, I might play you and win and not want to play again.

How do I know? because they admitted it...in my previous thread.
"And is there a problem with simply not wanting to play you again?" - That’s exactly why I suggested a best-of-3 option, so competitive players like myself can compete fairly and actually enjoy the game.

It wasn’t for no reason. When they say it was for reporting they were saying you were trying to expose so called “cowards” for not complying to your every request of rematching them. You even admitted that you don’t always take rematches because you are busy. Other people have that same problem! Stop thinking you are always right and every reason we give isn’t justified to any extent.

Are you just trying to force a justification for the thread being locked? Because what you're saying makes no actual sense.
No one broke any rules by declining a rematch... so there’s nothing to ‘report’
It was simply a general discussion, not aimed at any specific individual.
The more I read these responses, the more I realize how simple minded most of you are.

Mods saw that I was exposing the real reason cowards avoid rematches in my previous thread.
So to protect that truth from being revealed and understood, a mod shut down my thread with the excuse: 'Report users you're suspicious of and don't discuss it in the general forums.' ... Nobody was doing that.
This just proves even more that chess.com is encouraging and protecting coward behavior by any means necessary... which will ultimately kill the competitiveness and fun of chess.
The mods have already Marked you for your Schneide remarks. Don't get Schneider.
Also we're sending in boats to help the survivors of the flood of cowards. Hang in there.
You need to save yourself from the fragility of this platform and leave now. Save yourself.
