Titles
I assume you are referring to FIDE titles. No, you would have to pay for the FIDE online arena for arena titles (e.g. Arena Grandmaster, Arena International Master) and in in-person FIDE-rated tournaments for regular titles (e.g. International Master, Grandmaster).
Chess.com does not use the FIDE rating system, called Elo. It uses a different system, called Glicko that rates players differently.
Awesome tysm where can I join FIDE online arena? I am disabled and unable to travel but have a goal to become at least an IM so if you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!
The titles(GM,IM,FM,CM) of Over the Board are different from that of FIDE Arena which are AGM,AIM,AFM,ACM. Those titles are not gonna help you in tournament seeding, invitations, or title norms in OTB play. Although they are valid for life, but they do not carry the same prestige or privileges as traditional FIDE titles like GM, IM, FM, or CM.
