TLDR; My chess career so far & my willingness to improve through seeking help

Hi all,

I learned chess when I was ~10 years old but didn't give so much attention. Obsessed with the game, but thought that there will never be a career for it (didn't know about the chess federation whatsoever), and was playing with family/friends for a year or two, then quit when there was no one to play with.

After joining the college, I met a friend who loves to play chess, and I took advantage to play 2/3 games on a daily basis for a year or two also, and quit when he decided to stop playing.

Nowadays, and since the start of the COVID-19 situation, and getting laid off from my work too got me back to chess here, but I can see that chess isn't that simple game at all & full of openings & middle games & a lot of stuff, that if I want to learn, gotta take 100 years, especially that I am 28 years now.

Still, I want to learn & proceed & push myself, there might be a chance that I have lost when I was younger, but I am not willing to waste it again now (even if it'll require double/triple work).

Hint: I tried to study by myself & learned some advanced basics & recently I got a draw with a FM who's rated 2100+ (please check my profile for confirmation, yet my own rating is 800/900s only) not sure how!... anyway, I am just telling that I have the ability to learn & I won't let anyone who's eager to push me forward in my chess career down.

Thank you. Thank you.
