Too Good To Be Good
OK...ready foe some truth?
Instead of running to the "My opponent is cheating" card. You should probably look in a mirror, and realize the following:
You dont follow opening principles.
You miss simple tactics.
You hang material.
In 1 game you were up a queen, and lost that advantage. You were still up a rook, and lost that advantage. Your losses are not because of your opponents brilliant play. Your losses are due to your horrible play. And another thing...When you sign up for a 3 day per move tournament. You might ant t try and take 3 days to make a move, instead of starting and finishing 20+ moves in 1-2 days. I have no idea how you expect to improve playing that fast.
Im not nit picking...I'm being realistic. Your opponent is playing far from "flawlessly" and to assume he is cheating? Is poor sportsmanship.
It's obvious the ratings corruption here is almost comical, but the best thing is not to get hung up over it all like the pathetic souls who would be cheaters must be. I know I'm about 1200 or 1250 IRL or OTB. Not likely to get run around in circles by any 800 or 900 who is then evaluated with a !! after almost every move. Also not likely to have any better than maybe a 1/10 chance vs. a 1500 who then resigns to me without even playing. Internet ratings are so meaningless the best thing is to just play and appreciate the serenity of 'knowing what you really are.'
Sound advice there - its just a game and should be enjoyed as such. However, I would have one caveat. You will enjoy it better with a similar rated player with -50 / +50 spread against / in comparison with your own rating . . .
The only thing wrong with this is that online ratings can be so wildly disproportionate to the players ability. Whereas, an OTB tournament rating is a much better indicator of ability.
Even better might be +200 / -100. It is good to play a little over your head. I think some masters teach that when you are playing people where you score maybe 40% is when you get better. And still get to win often enough to stay confident.

+200 is good. Just like in OTB tournament play, its a good idea to play up one section.
