Tour final is just a victory lap for Magnus ego

Before the final event started, we all knew nobody else could win it, because of the "head start" points given based on previous tournament results.  It's not really a fair and even tournament.  Maybe Mags just wanted to make doubly sure he couldn't lose it, by adding the rule with the extra points.  I think he could've won it regardless, with the way he is playing.

Since when has any chess tournament given a head start to any player based on previous tournament wins?  A tournament should be won or lost as a separate, individual event.  This tournament is just a charade.  All the players are just going through the motions, knowing they could never win it from the start.  It's staged to help boost Magnus' fragile ego.

A real tour final would not have had the extra points given at the start.  This event is like when the movie mafia boss asks his goons to hold someone still while he hits them repeatedly.  Not a fair fight.  Of course Mags is the GOAT and all, but the extra points were a poor decision, as it makes the final tourney into a farce.

The real winner of that event was Radjabov who won so many games and scored way better than everyone including Magnus
