Top tournaments all use DGT equipment because it sends a signal to the clock and then to a computer. See if I can find you a link....

At least in the current version chess.com doesn't support it so you would still have to submit your moves the regular way.
I am not very familiar with tournament play. When I watch games on YouTube they always have the light and dark brown board and pieces. They look wooden, but I noticed there is a at least one cable that is plugged in to the board.
Is the plug because for a clock or something? Or does it actually track the moves for a cpu in real time for annotation purposes?
