Get a lot of sleep and practice some puzzles, I would also recommend listening to music before the tournament and taking a nice hot shower, and eat a hearty breakfast

Do some chess work which you enjoy and then rest up the day before the tournament. Good luck!!

Probably should’ve prepared a bit more than that, but try and get accustomed to the time control and writing your moves down. Do you have a training partner?

Just don't bother and win.

you could organize the opening system on your own and play several long-time-limit games to keep chess sensation , like 60+30 , 90+30 . Good luck in tournament ! trophies

If its your first OTB tournament play several game and practicing chess notation while you play, I find that actually taking notation for first timers can be a real distraction and even frustrating. Good Luck!
