Tournaments preparation

Hi i have more than a month for a big tournament but the probleam is that i dont know what to do it seems its to late for strategy,i practice tactics on chesstempo i have 1941 rating,but what else opening i've got a repotire and i have to work with openings by looking at master games with the openings i play now what else only opening and tactics for a month or something more

What is rating of the tournament? If you are confidence in your tactics you should do alright, it depends on the strength of the players, if they experts and masters it can be hard to rely on tactics alone but below 2000 elo you be tactics is enough preparation for a tournament.

its not confidence in my tactics i always do tactics evrey day its junior champonship me and two guys are the favorites and its like anyoneone of us can be first seconde third.I just want to know should i continue opening and tactics for this month and after that start strategy or is it not too late for strategy

continue on your tactics and endgame, this will help you score more points. I was in a team tounrnament and my friend who is an expert invite me to his team, I will play first board. I told my friend, I was very rusty and didn't think I could help him but he insist. I beat a 1480, 1705, two 2100 and lost two masters, I only study tactics to prepare for the tournament, if I did not play against the masters (2350 & 2289) I would score higher. If you don't have any experts or masters you should do quite well if you depend on tactics; by now you can't do must on your opening. Good luck, send a message how well you did.

Practice by doing some pawn endings and physical exercise, maybe review your opening preparation especially if you're playing the Najdorf (and for good measure have something handy against the Moscow like 1.e4,c5 2.Nf3,d6 3.Bb5+,Bd7 4.Bxd7+ and 4...Qxd7 is playing for a draw according to the authors of San Luis 2005, but should be good enough below master to play for a win and my preferred line as it leaves Nc6 open whereas 4...Nxd7 is to play for a win.)
