As part of the Play live system, Chess.com offers a series of tournaments, including a 15/10 <1199 Rapid Swiss Tournament. In my experience, when I sign up to play, the ratings all indicate that. However, when the tournament actually starts there are a number of players who are ranked MUCH higher (1800 or so). Am I misunderstanding how these are labeled? Or is there something broken in the way Chess.com sets these up?
