Tournaments Reasons Failed

I have been playing otb tournies for more than 30 years and am still playing. I have been to some great tournaments and some that werent so great as far as organization goes. I have also had great results in some and bad results in some with a lot of mediocre resutls between the great and bad results. I dont care for online tournaments much due to the problems involved in online play.
Who has been in a tournament and had success? The kind of success I mean is:
1. Great Organization
2. Great Specific Rules For Tournament
3. Great Completion Or Follow Through
I have been in 3 or 4 tournaments online. Everyone was a bust because either the tournament director or the people playing in the tournament did NOT record their wins or losses. This prevents the tournament director from matching players for the next round. Has anyone had any success in an online tournament on this website? I understand that Erick is planning on having some tournaments in the future. Given his and his teams track record I am sure that his tournaments will set the standard for completion after rounds. They will probably devise some special online button or tracking device that will correct the problem. Please share your thoughts or comments. Thanks In Advance
