Recently I joined a tournament which is a NO VACATION tournaments. It is a big one that is you have to play 22 game simultaneously and time control is 24 hours and you can not go on vacations. In this tournaments I just succeeded to make 3 to 4 upsets likes of 2000 elo(no time out it was checkmate or decisive material advantages) that was imposible for me in live chess or a normal correspondence game. When normally I struggle a lot to defeat likes of 1300 in a normal game, I made some big upsets but still I can not achieve that success in live chess or a normal correspondence game. What was the reason of that success that occured to me in that tournament but that is still elusive in routine chess. Can you suggest something in this regard?
