Tracked Activity

On my chess.com Home page, there are several entries under the column title "My Tracked Activity" of which I have no idea why they are there. I have one friend and all these forum topics were started by him but I have never flagged any forum topic to be tracked.

Anyone have an idea why they might be there and/or how I get rid of them?

Thanks.

If someone is your friend here, their threads are automatically tracked.

Validior

pretty sure if u post in a thread it sets u up to track it.

u can go under "forums" and click "tpics I have posted in" or maybe "topics I am tracking" then on the lower right click "mark all topics as read"...that might take the tracking off.

or go to each thread and uncheck "tracking comments"

This must be the case because I've never checked a box to track anything. This must get to be pretty cumbersome if one has many friends. Any way to stop the automatic tracking of a friend's activity (short of defriending them)?

Try going to the thread and untracking it. If this isn't a possibility, try "manage content".

At the bottom of "Alerts & Emails" page, there is an option to remove friends from tracking and still be friends.
