Now i have lot of time to practice chess. (5 hours+/day)

I need to practice till 10th May. So i have more than 50 hours.

I need to work on opening, tactics, strategy and endgame. Please help me in creating a training schedule.

CloJ

If you can buy a book, go for "Build up your chess - the fundamentals" by Artur Yusupov.

It contains lessons and exercises on opening, endgame, strategy, positional play, calculation and tactics. The training schedule is already done for you, just follow the chapters in order.

The author recommends 2 hours of study for each chapter and you have 25 chapters in this book. So you have your 50 hours covered.

Have fun with your training :D

Are you a morning person or an owl. Choice am or pm when your brain is most relaxed and receptive.   DEDICATE 30-45 mins intensive study to your task.   Do nothing untill several hours have passed . 3 intense study periods per day.........the rest ...chess.com AND some computer chess

I hour tacicts per day (at least, all week), from wednesday to friday one hour endgame, another hour+one long game.

From friday to tuesday 1 hour tactics, 1 hour strageties, 1 hour analysing the games of your prevoius days, 1 hour blitz for fun and pattern regonaizing etc., and then practice openings. That may work?

Hi! I can give you lots of training if you want? just look at my blog and answer the questions in my "students form". My post about candidates moves could also help you( after I understood this topic I played with a elo performance of 2100! ). I can play some long time control games also, where I can give you some advice for your moves. If you have any questions about openings you can also ask me! I am a very good prepared player and I know lots of interesting lines. Here are the openings I know and play :

White:- 1.D4 2.C4, Trompovsky attack( d4 Nf6, Bg5)

- E4 Gambit repertoire + all Main lines

Black:Against d4:

-Kingsindian Defence( with Nc6 and Nbd7)

- Dutch Stonewall ( with Bd6 and b6)

- Slav with a6( chebanenko Slav Main lines)

Against e4:

- Caro kann with Bf5

- open games Main lines ( e4 E5)

-sicilian Najdorf (Main lines)

Hope I can help you :) Cheers, Till_98

I don't know whether this rule is updated or not but this is what i know:

Play at least 9 rated opponents. Score 1.5 points in the 9 or more games. You will get a fide id from the first fide tournament you are participating. If you type in your name and id in ratings.fide.com, you will see your rating.

Also note that fide ratings are updated only on the first of every month and not at the end of the tournament. I got my rating in my first tournament. But one should also be lucky to get all rated opponents to get rating in first fide.

Here is a list of tournaments recognised by AICF and probably by FIDE. You might need to look the details of each tournament to learn more

30 minutes intense study, 15 minutes break (do whatever you want, get fresh air, eat, just relax). Repeat this 6 times. It will use 3 hours study, and should take 4 and a half hours. Then play 2 hours of 15|0, giving your 4 games at least, maybe more

I now discovered something else. Chess knowledge is not my problem. I am impatient and my mind is unfit sometimes. Play fast and lose.. Yoga???

Meditation! It also helps after a blunder OTB to just focus on your breathing for a few seconds, get your fighting spirit back and not blunder again.
