Nd7 is very necessary for this trap to work.
And you can get out after 11. Nxe6... dxe5. And now Qxe5...Qb6 and you should be safe even if you lose a few pawns and have to move king.

After Nxe6 dxe5 I think Nxd8 looks pretty good 
Accepting the knight looked wrong of course, but I didn't notice until the analysis board that (seems like) white gets black's queen.
Sorry orangehonda, I must not have been paying too much attention >_<. So then perhaps taking the pawn would have worked out fine...

No problem, but I got you beat, I overlook moves like that on a daily basis 
(see my consistency post), so I guess you're right, taking the pawn may not be so bad considering... and I thought Guy West was an actor which had me a bit confused, in games against famous people I usually see Kasparov play pretty tame just to give them a chance to play but if this is the guy google brought up for me then this game was lost by an IM... how embarrassing heh.
