Uh, yeah, that's the point of a trick opening.
Trick opening players won't rematch
So many people on the online forum take advantage of the fact that we are not face-to-face
Lose your queen early and make me sit for the rest of the game until time runs out? I'll slap you for that. No joke.
Do a gae trick and win, and then refuse a rematch? Slap.
If it frustrates you so much you just have to improve and get stronger. Trick openings reach a point where they only work in bullet chess or even are bad in bullet chess with one second increment. In a certain ranking if you are good against these openings you will win most of the time in bullet chess. There is a rating where no one dares to play such nonsense in 3-minute chess without increment, a little less below where almost no one dares. It's the same with those refuted gambits that don't really work.
The better player you are, the less they will get away with it and you will take away the desire to do that kind of thing, although there are some stubborn ones who do accept rematches and lose consecutive games doing these things.
This is one of the most frustrating things. There's not much you can do about it other than not fall for the tricks.
But it's quite frustrating when players whose whole strategy is opening tricks won't rematch. Why not, can't you win without tricks?
